Created on 20/01/2015 under NF21 N° 268 Vol2/15, by decree ZF N° 34/17/MIT/SAZOF, CAJOU DU CENTRE has been approved to the status of the free zone. It is an agro-industrial complex for the production and processing of organic cashew nuts into organic cashew kernels. Located 12 km from the city of Sokodé precisely in the village of Sagbadéi, the Company has an exploitable surface of 2000 ha of which 553 ha are exploited for the production of cashew nuts certified organic by ECOCERT SA since 2019. It has also a cashew nut processing plant into cashew kernels with a capacity of 9,000 tons of raw nuts equivalent to 1,800 tons of cashew kernels per year. Its various value chains employ 500 people, 80% of whom are women.

Committed to the quality approach since its creation, in particular by the layout of its premises which respects the principle of the forward movement of HACCP, solidly implemented and maintained by a team of professionals on site, CAJOU DU CENTRE has obtained the ACA seal certificate (Africa Cashew Aliance) which is a benchmark African standard for the production and processing of cashew nuts. It is also committed to the implementation of a quality approach in accordance with the ISO 9001 standard and is moving towards ISO 22000

Mr. Ibrahim KANGAYE

The Principal Manager

the founder and main shareholder of CAJOU DU CENTRE. He holds a master’s degree in business administration and management and a license in law. He has a solid experience in industrial business management because apart from the agro-industrial sector where he has been involved for more than 5 years, he has also been for 20 years promoter and General Manager of three industrial production units of roof tiles in Togo, Benin and Niger.

Mr. AVODEH Messanvi

The Production Manager

holds a professional master’s degree in Food Hygiene and Quality Management and a professional license in agrifood technology. He is the director of industrial production. He coordinates the entire transformation process and has 5 years of experience in the agri-food sector.

Mr. BANAKINAOU Wiyao

The Quality Manager

holds a master’s degree in Quality Safety Environment and a professional license in agro-food technology. He is in charge of environmental safety quality management and has 7 years of experience in the food industry.

Mr. KPASSAGOU Richard

The Director of Agricultural Operations

assistant agricultural engineer. He is the manager of the agricultural and beekeeping operation and has 10 years of experience in farming
